A deliciously gooey, sweet and filling dessert for a crowd!
Ingredients
1 package fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp butter or oil
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, water, oil and egg. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Spread evenly in greased pan and bake for 33-35 minutes. Cool completely.
In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup of butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk and vanilla, blend until combined. Add flour, mix well. Spread dough over cooled brownies evenly.
In a small microwave safe bowl, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of butter or oil until chocolate is just melted.
Carefully spread glaze over cookie dough.
Optional: Sprinkle top with walnuts.
