One of my favorite food items ever created... the fried pickle. There's really nothing as good as a delicious pickle covered in breadcrumbs, deep fried, and dipped in creamy ranch. I hope you enjoy these as much as we did!
Ingredients
16 oz jar Hamburger Dill Pickle Chips, drained
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp seasoned salt
Pepper, to taste
1 cup canola oil
Directions
Pat dry pickle chips on both sides until completely dry.
Heat oil in a medium frying pan.
In a small bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, seasoned salt, and pepper.
Dredge pickle chips individually in egg, and then breadcrumbs. Press down in breadcrumbs to fully coat.
Add pickles to oil in a single layer. Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Remove from oil and place onto a paper towel lined plate. Immediately salt hot pickles.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, we prefer ranch!
